About Spyker
Spyker is a Dutch sports-car marque revived by Victor Muller and Maarten de Bruijn in 1999. It takes its name and aircraft-inspired identity from the earlier Dutch manufacturer, which operated until 1926.1
The original company developed the 60 hp racing car shown in 1903. It combined a six-cylinder engine with four-wheel drive and four-wheel braking.2
The modern company introduced the C8 Spyder in 2000. Its later cars and concepts include the C12 Zagato and C8 Preliator Spyder. The business entered bankruptcy in 2021, and its trademark rights were sold in 2025.13
In August 2026, Spyker unveiled the C8 Preliator XXV Coupé, announcing a planned series of 25 cars.4
