Connectable

Use suggestedMetric to connect a signal to a value in Pelican, such as speed or battery charge. The signal must use a compatible unit.

The OBDb schema defines the identifiers and descriptions below. They are grouped by Pelican’s signal categories:

Charging

Connectable	Description
`isCharging`	Whether the traction battery is charging.
`pluggedIn`	Whether a charging cable is connected.
`starterBatteryVoltage`	Starter battery voltage.

Connectable	Description
`absoluteEngineLoad`	Engine load relative to the theoretical maximum air intake.
`commandedLambda`	The commanded air-fuel ratio relative to the stoichiometric ratio.
`engineLoad`	Calculated engine load.
`engineSpeed`	Engine revolutions per minute.
`fuelRate`	Fuel consumed per unit of time.
`massAirFlow`	Mass of air entering the engine per unit of time.
`o2Lambda`	The measured air-fuel ratio relative to the stoichiometric ratio.
`shortTermFuelTrim`	The short-term adjustment to fuel delivery.
`throttlePosition`	Throttle position.
`tractionBatteryCapacity`	The energy capacity of the traction battery.
`tractionBatteryCurrent`	Current flowing through the traction battery.
`tractionBatteryEfficiency`	Traction battery energy consumed per unit of distance.
`tractionBatteryVoltage`	Traction battery voltage.

`checkEngineLightOn`	Whether the check engine light is on.
`cvtDeterioration`	The deterioration counter for continuously variable transmission fluid.
`daysToService`	Days remaining until the next service.
`distanceToService`	Distance remaining until the next service.
`stateOfHealth`	Traction battery health as a percentage of its original capacity.
`storedDTCCount`	The number of stored diagnostic trouble codes.

Connectable	Description
`speed`	The speed of the car.

`electricRange`	Estimated remaining driving distance on battery power.
`fuelRange`	Estimated remaining driving distance on fuel.
`fuelTankLevel`	Fuel remaining as a percentage of tank capacity.

Connectable	Description
`distanceSinceDTCsCleared`	Distance traveled since diagnostic trouble codes were cleared.
`odometer`	Total distance traveled by the car.

For a group of signals, use suggestedMetricGroup. The specification accepts these values:
